Many stereo receivers actually in possession of an iPod dock connects to your stereo from its own port. Kind of surprise that the RCA cable to all workplaces.
Very high-end receiver is not really built a dock because they developed are to include with other audio components like CD-labor, and cassette deck.
Use a stereo mini-jack to left / right RCA cable, correct>? If so, you should look for a digital audio converter, which connects to several pin iPod connector and converts the digital signal into an analog output signal of high quality, then give their AUX / etc is the recipient of your file. I guarantee that the headset sounds better-OUT. Hope this helps.
